Golden Milk (Turmeric Milk)

Golden milk (aka turmeric milk) is so warm and comforting while also packing a boost of health for you!

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 2 cups nondairy milk of choice (coconut and oat are my favs)
  • 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  • Whisk all the spices into milk.
  • Bring the spiced up milk to a boil and turn off the heat.
  • Pour golden milk into a cup (strain if you want an extra smooth finish).
  • Add sweetener to taste and stir. Add a little foam if you wish. Serve hot and savor your cup of golden milk sunshine.

You can serve this iced as well!
