I don’t know what else to call this. It’s chocolate and it’s super fast when it comes to meeting your cravings. It’s faster than the cashew butter cup and raspberry chocolate buttercup. I know!! WHAT!? Therefore, I so dub it Quick Choco-Fix!
I know, how original. But I don’t want to beat around the bush with this. I need you to know it’s not hard to satisfy a chocolate craving that’s not gonna spike your sugar levels or budget. Let’s be real, simple ingredient chocolate bars are delicious but they can be pricey!
This comes together so fast. All you need are a few ingredients: cacao, coconut oil, maple syrup, and flaky sea salt (ps make your own salt here!). You can also use raw honey because even though it has a higher glycemic index, it also has some great benefits (not to mention flavor!).
Oh! And I forgot to mention — you can remember this recipe EASILY because I use ratios! Just remember 2:2:1. 2 parts cacao, 2 parts coconut oil, and 1 part maple.
Just melt together those three ingredients, and pour it into a lined muffin tin or a mold. Then pop it in the freezer until firm (which really shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes total in the freezer!). If you want flaky sea salt on it (which I highly recommend for a sweet and salty treat), take it out after a couple minutes and sprinkle on the flakes! Pop it back in the freezer to complete the 5 minutes and BOOM! A quick choco-fix. Easy peasy!
