This is a simple but fun summer drink (and make no mistake, it’s still summer!). It takes you to the tropics in one sip. And right now, with fire season happening, we could all use some refreshment. What is this tantalizing bev, you ask? Guava Limeade, of course!

If you find yourself in the tropics or an Asian grocery store, go to the fruit section and get lost in the beauty and wonder. There are so many fun fruits to see and taste. If you’re lucky, you’ll encounter a cute little guava. And if you do — get it! It may or may not be ripe but when it is, you’ll know! Trust me. Its sweet fragrance and will overtake your kitchen and it’ll be time to enjoy. Or pop in the fridge if you’re pressed for time.

Once that guava is ready, scoop out the innards, remove the seeds, and then add the pulp to fresh lime juice. Add a little sweetness and serve it with ice and seltzer!

Give this guava limeade a try and enjoy a sip of sunshine!
