I love these ALLERGEN FREE MUDDY BUDDIES! They’re sweet but not too sweet, and they are a bit more satiating with their nutty coating!
Allergen Free Muddy Buddies
Ingredients
- 3 cups rice Chex cereal
- ⅓ cup unsweetened chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons sun butter
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla
- 1+ cup almond flour (or powdered coconut sugar if you miss the super sweetness)
Instructions
- In a large, microwaveable bowl, add unsweetened chocolate chips, maple syrup, sun butter, coconut oil, and vanilla. Melt in 30 second intervals using microwave until completely melted.
- In the large bowl, add rice Chex cereal and gently coat with chocolate mixture.
- Once cereal is coated in chocolate, add 1 cup almond flour to the bowl and slowly and gently cover everything in the powder. If you wish to have a sweeter treat, use powdered coconut sugar (or a combo of that with almond flour). Add more almond flour if needed to ensure all the melted chocolate is covered.
- Refrigerate until chocolate firms up. Serve and snack on!
