Hi, I’m Sunita! I love flavorful, fun food. Aaaaand I have allergies. But, don’t you even worry. It’s made my life in the kitchen so much more exciting and experimental — and I love it!
My mission is to make foods accessible and easy as can be. So if you have allergies, I’ll adapt food as best as I can for you! If you are pressed for time or just hate doing dishes all the time, I got you. if you want some staples that will help elevate the foods you already make, look no further!
I also aim to make the person who can eat anything (read: no allergies or restrictions) want to eat everything they see here. Through this page, I hope you’re inspired to get creative in the kitchen and make deliciousness for you and your people too!
I was raised with lots of spices and flavor combos. I love a good fusion (I mean, as an Indian raised in the Pacific NW I basically am a fusion). And I’ve always loved experimenting in the kitchen and giving foodie love to others. Yes, I’m a firm believer that food is a love language. And yes, it’s genetic. I’m just here to share that love in a modern way.
In 2012, I learned I have some food allergies (gluten, dairy, and peanuts to be exact), and to be honest I was a little sad at first. But, I was also committed to doing what I needed to do (aka cut out the allergens) so I dove in head first! And I didn’t let avoiding certain foods stop myself from eating well. In fact, it set me on a journey to discover new ways of preparing food for me and my people. After all, food is best when we eat together.
Here you’ll find a mix of foods that accommodate a variety of allergies, intolerances, and tastes (and ages — my kiddo taste tests everything!). I’ve never met a dietary challenge I can’t cater to and I hope you too can learn the same for you and yours!
