First off, I need to tell you that I did not make up this concept for a drink. I am merely recreating what I experienced for me and for you so we can all enjoy it. I first had frozen mint lemonade in Morocco years ago when my spouse and I visited his dear friend. And it was so good! Cool and refreshing — the perfect way to enjoy yourself on a hot day.
I know this isn’t the first time I’ve shared a frozen lemonade, but listen! This one needed to be shared. It’s too good. It’s like a grown-up slushy! It’s got zing from the lemons and a cool vibe from the mint. And then whirl it up with ice and some maple sweetness?? Mmmm mmm good!!
Plus, mint is basically the most delicious weed that runs rampant! And this is the perfect way to put that herby goodness to use!
Just throw everything into a blender (I like using a high-speed blender) and let it rip! Keep blending until all the ice is evenly pulverized. Once it’s uniform, pour it into your glass and drink on.
I hope you give this frozen mint lemonade a try! It’s an amazing way to get your summer sip on.
