We don’t automatically think of sweetness when hearing about sauerkraut, but I am telling you adding it to frozen mango, milk (I used flax milk), plus a dot of cardamom adds tang and a subtle umami flavor!
It is quite good and the whole thing screams lassi. Plus adding kraut is a cool way to incorporate probiotics to your drink life!
Probiotic Mango Smoothie
Servings 1
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 cup nondairy milk
- ¼ cup sauerkraut
- ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
Instructions
- Blend everything together in a blender until perfectly smooth, service, and enjoy!
